Sack RaceIdle Times is a family run campground and it’s our goal to make sure those who camp with us have fun.

Sporting Equipment available for rental.

Our campground is only a mile and a half from Highland Lake and we’ve got our own private beach, boat dock and ramp. Enjoy our canoe, paddle boat and kayak rentals or swimming. Bring your own water craft so you can water ski, jet ski or simply enjoy relaxing on the lake.

Idle Times Beach – There is no life guard on duty at our beach. Swimming is done at your own risk. All guests under 17 are required to be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Please help us keep our beach clean. Absolutely no glass containers are allowed on the beach at any time.

BoatingHighland Lake has excellent fishing. You have a chance to catch Brook Trout, Rainbow Trout, Black Crappie, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass and White Perch. Check out the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department’s website and make sure you pick up a non-resident fishing license there! You are required to have a license when fishing in New Hampshire and we don’t sell them at our store.
